Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) is playing a vital role in the health sector by using the nuclear technology for peaceful purposes for serving the ailing humanity all over the country especially in remote and under privileged areas. Bahawalpur Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Oncology (BINO) has been working since 1996 under the ambit of PAEC. BINO is well reputed in the region for providing state-of-art diagnostic and treatment facilities being the only cancer hospital in the region with ISO certification. BINO is also fully committed to play a vital role in research activities in close cooperation with all the leading universities of South Punjab.
